You're Invited to the Myo Coffee Klatsch

Guest Dr. William M. Hang

Saturday March 26th, 8:00AM - 9:00AM Pacific Time

Every Saturday the AOMT runs a study club around topics in myofunctional therapy & sciences. We affectionately call it the Myo Coffee Klatsch - as it's a gathering where we share research, ask and answer questions related to myofunctional therapy, and bring in guest lecturers who are experts in their field.

This Saturday we want to invite you and your colleagues! Please join us - and tune in from wherever you are in the world.

Please join us LIVE this Saturday March 26th @ 8:00AM Pacific Time  to hear Dr. William M. Hang present, "Pediatric Orthodontic Intervention: Early & Urgent."  He will elaborate on How to Identify, Diagnose, Treat, (or Refer) Airway Problems in Children under 10 with a Special Emphasis on Treating Under Age 6.

Topics covered include:

  • Visual cues that could point to a facial development and/or airway problem
  • How and why myofunctional therapy is upending traditionally held beliefs on how orthodontics should be performed
  • What can and cannot be done for children and adults with regard to facial growth guidance
  • Where orthodontics could/should be headed and how myofunctional therapy can play a critical role in positive change

This event is open to our wider AOMT community, and we encourage you to invite your colleagues to join us!

He was the Founding President of the North American Association of Facial Orthotropics®; is a board member of the American Association of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry, Children’s Airway First Foundation, and the Airway Revolution Foundation; and is an advisor to the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Dr. Hang was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the AAPMD “For a Lifetime of Dedication, Innovation and Courage Developing Techniques & Education in Airway Orthodontics and Changing the Lives of Practitioners and Patients” and the AAMS Louis Pasteur Award for Courage and Leadership in Advancing Medicine Via Myofunctional Sciences.
