Last Saturday we had guest Eyal Botzer, DMD present, "What the Pediatric ENT Needs to Know About Tongue Tie."  Eyal Botzer, DMD is the Director of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Tel Aviv, Israel, and is transitioning to dedicate the majority of his time as founding director of the Dorin and David Arison Research And Treatment Center for Nursing and Ankyloglossia. Please join us this coming Saturday to see a follow up discussion with Dr. Botzer and guests, including Katrina Rogers, SLT, Michelle Emanuel OTR/L IBCLC, Robin Glass OT IBCLC, Silke Weber ENT, and Kevin Boyd, DDS to follow up with key aspects that play into many disciplines with regard to tongue tie and facilitating treatment.

Katrina is a specialist speech and language therapist working as a Consultant in Dysphagia in Kent Community NHS Foundation Trust. She has an independent practice, and trained as an orofacial myofunctional practitioner. She is an honorary lecturer at Christchurch University, Greenwich for Paediatric Dysphagia. 2019 winner of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship where she will be tasked with exploring how to establish OMT in the NHS of the UK.

Katrina is a specialist speech and language therapist working as a Consultant in Dysphagia in Kent Community NHS Foundation Trust. She has an independent practice, and trained as an orofacial myofunctional practitioner. Michelle Emanuel has 25 years experience as a Neonatal / Pediatric Occupational Therapist,  and IBCLC with specific focus on posture, movement and connection for the precrawling baby. She has a background in neonatal intensive care (NICU), pediatric intensive care (PICU), cardiac intensive care (CICU), and outpatient population.   She has a unique and interesting way of blending traditional and complementary forms of therapeutic applications, with her main emphasis on facilitating healthy nervous system function.
