AOMT 2nd Annual CADAVER LAB

Discover Anatomy Like Never Before:

Immerse Yourself in Hands-On Learning with Human Anatomy

Join us for an unforgettable full-day experience where we take Myofunctional Therapy education beyond the textbook and into the cadaver lab. This is your chance to see, touch, and explore the very structures we discuss every day—bringing your knowledge of head and neck anatomy to life like never before.

What to Expect

This Second Annual AOMT Field Trip is designed for airway professionals such as myofunctional therapists, dental professionals, speech-language pathologists, and healthcare providers eager to deepen their anatomical understanding through hands-on dissection and expert instruction.

Morning Session – Engaging Presentations

We’ll begin with four dynamic guest presenters who will guide you through the intricate anatomy of the airway, tongue, jaw, and related structures that are critical to Myofunctional Therapy. Their insights will prepare you for the immersive experience ahead. Hear from:

Dr. David Hopper : Functional Anatomy of the Head and Neck

Dr. Milton Geivelis : Real Life Cases with Tongue-Tie Release

Dr. Kelly Wells: Cranial Osteopathy Perspectives including Fascial Adhesions and Compensations

Matthew Berean: Live Demonstration Exploring Movement Patterns linked to Fascial Adhesions, preparing for what we see in the Lab

Afternoon Session – Cadaver Lab Experience

Step into the lab and engage in a rare, hands-on dissection experience, where you’ll be able to:

✔ Identify key anatomical structures related to orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs) and airway function.

✔ Gain a three-dimensional understanding of the muscles and tissues we work with daily.

✔ Connect what you’ve learned in books and courses to real human specimens.

✔ Strengthen your clinical confidence and treatment approach with deeper anatomical insight.

Why Attend?

✅ See Anatomy in 3D – Move beyond pictures and diagrams to gain true spatial awareness of the structures that impact function. Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders will be the focus.

✅ Enhance Your Clinical Skills – Strengthen your ability to assess, explain, and treat myofunctional disorders with firsthand anatomical experience.

✅ Network with Like-Minded Professionals – Build valuable connections with colleagues, educators, and industry leaders who share your passion for anatomy and patient care.

✅ Elevate Your Expertise – Stand out in your field with advanced anatomical knowledge that few clinicians get to experience firsthand.
